Eydís Evensen: Oceanic Mirror

Description

‘Oceanic Mirror’ is the third studio album from Icelandic pianist and post-classical composer Eydís Evensen – a transcendent journey through nature, emotion, and self-reflection. Inspired by Iceland’s dramatic landscapes and the meditative depths of the ocean, this album invites listeners to navigate life’s turbulence with grace and serenity. Evensen blends classical piano with ethereal electronic textures, creating soundscapes that ripple with emotional resonance. From the haunting beauty of ‘Fridarglymur’ to the uplifting warmth of ‘Helena’s Sunrise’, each piece reflects a phase of life – grief, joy, renewal, and peace.
