Strata Records – The Sound of Detroit: Reimagined By Jazzanova

Description

How does the Berlin-based production collective Jazzanova find itself reimagining songs from the iconic, Detroit record label Strata? ‘I couldn’t think of a more perfect band to do this work,’ DJ Amir says about Jazzanova, a combination of DJs, record collectors and musicians, ‘because they brought passion and love to the project, because they know the music and love the music. And on top of that, they know how to play’.
