Description
Sci-fi thriller directed by Saul Bass. In the Arizona desert, biologist Ernest Hubbs (Nigel Davenport) has set up an observation point so that he can study a population of ants who have wiped out all predators but they soon begin to pose a threat to humanity. Hubbs’ initial plans to eradicate the colony fail and so he joins forces with analyst James Lesko (Michael Murphy) and Kendra (Lynne Frederick), a young woman who survived an ant attack, and they attempt to communicate with the ants to discover what it is that they want.
