‘Deutsches Album’ (1982) is Gabriel’s German-language adaptation of his fourth album ‘Peter Gabriel 4’. It was released simultaneously with the international edition in Germany. Co-produced by Peter and David Lord this is the first album where Peter really immersed himself in the music of distant lands and cultures, and was also his first fully digital recording.
