‘Perfect Fit’ is a landscape puzzle of the musical life of award-winning fiddler Patrick McAvinue. From his multi-genre studies at Towson University, through his tenures with bluegrass artists Audie Blaylock & Redline and Dailey & Vincent, making dream appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, and pushing the boundaries of traditional Irish fiddle tunes with jazz flavourings through his own band Charm City Junction, Patrick captures all of his personal history into songs that, as a group, defy categorisation.
