Description
Dzongkha-language drama written and directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji. In Bhutan, Ugyen (Sherab Dorji) has almost completed his teacher training when he is assigned to work in a school in the remote mountain village of Lunana. Harbouring dreams of moving to Australia and becoming a singer, Ugyen struggles to adjust to the villagers’ way of life. However, he is soon won over by his pupils’ enthusiasm for his teaching.
