1976’s ‘Hardcore Jollies’ was the ninth studio album from George Clinton’s legendary Funkadelic. Foregrounding the technical guitar wizardry of Michael Hampton and Eddie Hazel, the collection rocked hard, and featured a live version of 1973 track ‘Cosmic Slop’ alongside singles ‘Comin’ Round the Mountain’ and ‘Smokey’.
