Description
Bill Travers and William Sylvester star in this sci-fi action directed by Eugène Lourié. When Captain Joe Ryan (Travers)’s salvage ship is damaged, he and his First Officer Sam Slade (Sylvester) dock at Nara Island to begin repairs. They learn that there is something dangerous in the water there, a monstrous creature capable of killing humans, and Ryan and his crew work with the locals to catch it. Once they succeed, Ryan sells it to a circus in London where it is exhibited in a pit in Battersea Park. However, it soon becomes apparent that the creature is only a baby and its mother is desperate to reclaim her child. She is even larger and she will destroy anything that stands in her way…
