Description

A follow-up solo effort by Dan Swanö to 1996’s ground-breaking ‘Crimson’ album as well as the 8th and final release under the Edge of Sanity name, 2003’s ‘Crimson II’ comes remastered by songwriter/frontman/producer Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Incantation) himself. Each of the 11 movements which compose the one unique ‘Crimson II’ track showcase Swanö’s singular vision for Edge of Sanity, creating a sequel with improved technicality and songcraft across its 43 minutes, as parts like ‘The Forbidden Words’, ‘Incantation’, ‘Covenant of Souls’ or ‘Aftermath’ demonstrate with breathless progressive death metal endeavor.
