When his former rival Daniel LaRusso (Macchio) returns, struggling to cope on his own after the death of his mentor, he takes in Johnny’s estranged son Robby (Tanner Buchanan) in the hopes of passing on the teachings of his late friend. In this season, with Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) now in full control of Cobra Kai, Johnny and Daniel strengthen their efforts to bring him down. The episodes are: ‘Long, Long Way from Home’, ‘Molé’, ‘Playing With Fire’, ‘Downward Spiral’, ‘Extreme Measures’, ‘Ouroboros’, ‘Bad Eggs’, ‘Taikai’, ‘Survivors’ and ‘Head of the Snake’.
