Biggles Delivers the Goods

Description

Biggles smuggles a vital cargo from right under the enemy’s nose!

A Chinese smuggler called Li Chi, who owes Biggles his life, has built up a secret store of rubber, a vital war material, that he would like to offer to the British war effort.

It is hidden on a remote island off Malaya, currently under Japanese control, more than a thousand miles from the nearest Allied air base. And there is no runway on the island…

Not doubting Biggles’ ability to do the impossible for a moment, Air Commodore Raymond orders him to smuggle the rubber to India by plane. Together with the men of 666 squadron, Biggles flies off to war once again.

A thrilling tale of smuggling and night-time commando raids in south-east Asia.
