American Designers at Home

Description

American Designers at Home takes a rare look inside the private worlds of today’s top interior decorators, among them Kelly Wearstler, Ken Fulk, Mark Grattan, Andre Mellone, and Nicole Hollis. These stars and many more open the doors to houses and apartments across the country and beyond, sharing deeply personal spaces in a wide range of styles and scales. From sprawling estates to modest pied-à-terres (in one case, little more than a single room) these extraordinary projects provide daring case studies in design, with everyday inspiration and expert wisdom all brilliantly captured in vivid photographs and thought-provoking essays. Taken together, the 20 featured homes offer portraits of creative visionaries and an intimate snapshot of American spirit—necessary reading for any design lover or professional.
