Description
The Cincinnati formed, Chicago-based four-piece blend moody drones and pop music. Female fronted and caustically sung, Smut reminds us of shoegaze bands’ past. On their upcoming EP, ‘Power Fantasy’, we find Smut in a state of transition. they open in a dreamscape of guitar chords as Roebuck sings of climbing the backs of giants. over the course of three tracks ‘Power Fantasy’ transforms into an infectious, self-assured EP.
