Daniel O’Donnell’s recording career has now spanned 40 years and he continues to delight fans around the world by his recording and touring activities. Daniel is one of the UK chart’s most prolific and successful recording Artists. In 2023, he broke his own world record, by becoming the first recording artist to chart at least one new album every year in the Artist Albums Chart for 36 consecutive years. During his career, in the United Kingdom Daniel has amassed forty-nine charting albums, including nineteen that reached the Top 10, with seventeenof them this Century, a feat not achieved by any other recording Artist. ‘Now and Then’ showcases the best of local songwriters and producers, interlaced with some classic songs that have stood the test of time. The album features 14 new recordings including the singles ‘The Last Song’, ‘The Girl On Bedsit Avenue’, ‘As Happy As We Were’ and ‘I Just Called to Say I Love You’, as well as his interpretations of Don Williams’ ‘You’re My Best Friend’, John Denver’s ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’ and Ronan Keating’s ‘When You Say Nothing At All.
