Description
On their third album, 1998’s ‘The Bed Is In the Ocean’, Karate allowed further influences of jazz to bleed into their already complex fusion of emo, post-hardcore, indie and post-rock. With the departure of guitarist Eamonn Vitt the year before, the group’s punky twin-guitar attack was naturally toned down this time out, bringing out even more nuance in their sound.
