his 180 gram yellow virgin vinyl LP reissue of pianist Dave Brubeck’s classic 1959 album ‘Time Out’ features the classic quartet of Brubeck with Paul Desmond on alto sax, Eugene Wright on bass and drummer Joe Morello. The bonus track is ‘Audrey’ recorded in 1954 with an earlier quartet with Paul Desmond and Bob Bates on bass and Joe Dodge on drums. The specially prepared liner notes are by Penguin Guide to Jazz’s writer Brian Morton and by France’s prestigious Jazz Magazine.
