Description
Released in 1955, ‘Julie is Her Name’ was produced by pianist Bobby Troup and features Barney Kessel on guitar with Ray Leatherwood on bass. Her debut album was an immediate hit reaching number 2 in the US charts and featured what would become London’s best-known song ‘Cry Me a River’, a classic ‘torch’ song which became a global top ten hit.
